From June 2024, Michael Neumann is assuming the role as commercial plant manager of Robert Bosch Elektronika Kft. in Hatvan. The commercial specialist succeeds in this role to dr. Arne Ziegenbein, who continues his carreer within the company group in Germany. Michael Neumann is a Bosch fellow for over seventeen years and returned to the Bosch plant in Hatvan as an acquaintance, where he worked in several business areas between 2016 and 2021. Technical direction of the Hatvan plant remains with Attila Horváth, technical plant manager.
Michael Neumann was born in Berlin in 1984. He completed his university studies there, first obtaining a Bachelor's degree and then an MBA degree in business administration and economics. He started his professional career in the automotive domain at Bosch in 2007 in Reutlingen, Germany. From 2012, he was part of the start-up team for the greenfield project that established a new factory in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He arrived at the plant in Hatvan in 2016, where he worked for close to five years; first heading the controlling department, then leading the logistics area of the plant. For the past three years, he served as vice president of finance and administration of Bosch Electrical Drives / Electrified Motion for the Asia-Pacific region, located in Shanghai, China.
“It is a great pleasure and honour for me to be able to work here in Hatvan as the commercial plant manager of the largest mobility electronics plants of Bosch” – emphasized Michael Neumann. "My goal is to ensure a smooth transition of the product portfolio from electronic control units for steering, driving assistance and combustion engine related technology towards the future-oriented, state-of-the-art technology for electrified powertrains. We are facing several challenges, but I am highly optimistic about the future of the location." he added.
