State honor for representative of Bosch in Hungary

Budapest – On the occasion of the national March 15 celebrations, István Szászi, representative of the Bosch Group in Hungary and in the Adriatic region, was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit (Civil Division). The official nomination states that he was given the honor in recognition of his achievements in the domestic vehicle manufacturing sector, his efforts to advance industry-academia cooperation, and his work to strengthen research and development activities.

“This award is a recognition of the collective work of all my colleagues and our collaborating partners in strengthening Hungary’s innovation ecosystem. I am proud that through our joint efforts and innovations, we create lasting value and contribute to global advancement,” emphasized István Szászi on the occasion of receiving the distinction.

For nearly 140 years, innovation has been the cornerstone of Bosch’s corporate culture, synonymous with leading technologies. One of Bosch’s strategic objectives is to keep fostering the development of Hungary’s innovation ecosystem, where close collaboration between industry, academia, startup companies, and government stakeholders can give rise to tomorrow’s most important technologies.
