The Eszterházy Károly Catholic University (EKKE) of Eger and Robert Bosch Automotive Steering Kft. of Maklár cooperate in the practical training of university students; the representatives of the institution and the company signed an agreement on this in Eger. As part of the cooperation, the students can complete their professional internship at the company that manufactures and develops vehicle components, and they will also have the opportunity for dual training in the fields of economics and management, as well as economic informatics. Bosch associates join university training as guest lecturers in the subjects of corporate finance, logistics and HR.

The university has been playing an important role in supplying manpower for the company for years. Many interns and full-time employees work in Bosch's economic department, who studied at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University. With the current agreement, the cooperation between the university and the company becomes tighter.

Internship program: competitive knowledge and practice
The purpose of the cooperation is to support the recruitment of professionals and the joint development of training courses, so that young people graduating from the university have up-to-date, competitive industry knowledge and appropriate practice. “At Bosch, we develop and manufacture the solutions and new technologies of the future. For this, associates who are creative, open to new things, and have competitive knowledge are essential. Eszterházy Károly Catholic University is a good partner in jointly preparing the professionals of the future for the challenges of the labour market," said Michael Zink, plant manager of Robert Bosch Automotive Steering Kft. in Maklár. “During the creation and development of the university's training portfolio, we pay special attention to the needs of the local economy. Our goal is for the institution to provide companies with suitable, qualified personnel. Our excellent partner in this work is Robert Bosch Automotive Steering Kft., which welcomes our students as a dual partner institution”, said rector Ilona Tari Dr. Pajtókné at the signing of the cooperation agreement. The agreement also includes Bosch professionals participating in university events, organizing plant visits for students, and helping students fill vacancies at the company.
