Hatvan – Construction of a new regional logistics center for the Bosch Group has got under way with the laying of the foundation stone in Hatvan Industrial Park. The event was attended by Dr Miklós Seszták, Minister of National Development, Zsombor Török, CEO of NIPÜF Zrt. and Daniel Korioth, Representative of the Bosch Group in Hungary. Due to open in 2018, the facility will connect Bosch’s Central and Eastern European logistics activities using the most advanced technology.
Daniel Korioth, Representative of the Bosch Group in Hungary, said, “We regard this latest logistics center as an exemplary investment by the Bosch Group in international, as well as Hungarian terms. The new facility in Hatvan is a key milestone both for cooperation among different divisions of the Bosch Group and for the Group’s logistics activity in the Central and Eastern European region. I would like to thank NIPÜF Nemzeti Ipari Park Üzemeltető és Fejlesztő Zrt. for its part in the project, and to express our gratitude for the trust and support we have received by the town of Hatvan.”
The new logistics center is also a flagship of the Bosch Group’s future-oriented technological vision and its moves towards the connected future: the logistics center in Hatvan will be supported by the most advanced innovations. It will play a key part in developing the integrated and harmonious operation of the Bosch Group’s regional logistics activity.
The official handover ceremony of the regional logistics center is expected to take place at the end of second quarter in 2018.
