In the coronavirus crisis, Bosch is committed to both tech-nological innovations and climate action

Bosch announced in early 2019 that it would be the first globally operating industrial enterprise to become climate neutral by the end of 2020, and this at all its 400 locations worldwide. Since the end of 2019, the supplier of technology and services has achieved carbon neutrality for all its locations in Germany. In April 2020 it is already 70 percent of the way to achieving its climate target worldwide. To make carbon neutrality a reality, Bosch is investing in energy efficiency, increasing the proportion of renewables in its energy supply, buying in more green power, and offsetting unavoidable carbon emissions. In 2020, the share of carbon offsets will be far lower than projected – 25 percent instead of nearly 50 percent.
