Budapest – As of 1 November 2016, Daniel Korioth will be the Representative of the Bosch Group in Hungary, as well as the General Manager of Robert Bosch Kft with additional responsibilities for commercial operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
Mr Korioth graduated in Economics from the University of Lima (Peru), and has been working for the group since 1989. He started his career as a member of the Junior Managers Program in sales and marketing, and over the last 28 years he has worked in Germany, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Before coming to Budapest, he was Regional President Diesel Systems Latin America, where he started in November 2008. Mr Korioth said of his appointment, “It is a great honour and an inspiring challenge for me to have the chance of continuing my career in Hungary. The principle of sustainable and profitable growth is what guides me in my work.”
Having headed the Bosch Group in Hungary since December 2011, Javier González Pareja is taking up an appointment in his homeland, Spain. Under his guidance, the group has more than doubled its workforce in Hungary and implemented several major investment projects. Collaborations by Bosch Hungarian subsidiaries with local schools and Universities have delivered major accomplishments in the education field. Recognition for the group’s operations under his leadership has come in being voted one of the most desired employers year after year, winning the Job Creator of the Year award and several times receiving the R&D Investor of the Year award. On 1 January 2017, he will take up his duties as President of Bosch Group in Spain and Portugal.
